Visiting Manchester

I'm somewhat tired having been doing work on my personal website for the past few hours. I should head off home and eat, I guess :-)

I'm heading up to Manchester tomorrow night, returning to London on Sunday evening. Saturday I'll be at a reunion so unavailable, but other than that I'm free. Who wants to meet up? (If after Friday then best to phone/use SMS as I can't guarantee Interwebnet access)

Not sure if it's your kind of music but we're going to a grunge/90s alternative night called Rusty Cage at the Phoenix club. It's run by friends of ours. Don't want to leave it on an unlocked post but email me if you want my number (rigbyjl hotmail). Sorry to hear about your health problems; I've had a few of my own lately. Life knows how to kick you in the balls when you least expect it.

Grunge night sounds good - whether or not matthewp decides to come I think we might.......but remind me, it's been a long time since I did the grunge what-to-wear dance.......gimme a clue (or at least a few suggestions)

Ripped jeans or flannel shirt gets you in for £2 instead of £3. Last time I wore girly dress (with flannel shirt) but mostly it's a jeans and t shirts affair. Up to you though, grunge shouldn't have a dress code! Thom's wearing either jeans or cutoff combats, probably depending on the weather.

I've just sorted out my ultimate ripped jeans.......they don't get much more ripped as they are only held together with safety-pins and unless I wore a complete outfit underneath I would probably get arrested......

So I think that will sort out the bottom half :)

I'm getting my fixes by means of stolen wireless, but it's weak, slow and falls apart rather a lot. Only works on my laptop too, but aside from this, it's generally accessible, and because OSX is Unix based, you should be able to use PuTTY if you want to get at your emails.
