They sound trite when taken out of context like that but the lecture is wonderfully inspiring.
This has made me think about my 101 in 1001 list. I've neglected to update that, but I have made occasional progress. Admittedly not as much as I'd like to have made, but I'll post an update at some point before my deadline (which is November 16th this year - eep) but also when I have more time to write instead of when I should be in bed.
Note to self before I go to bed: I want to write a post about teaching / lecturing / learning.

Weeked was spent in Manchester. Intent was to install Cat5 cabling chezxugglybug, but as is often the case with such projects things fell behind schedule. I'll get the rest done some other time.
Shame not to have been able to meet up with other people this time. I've not yet fixed any dates when I plan to go back, but it should happen soon enough.
Time now to finish off a few emails I owe people re other recent posts. (Sorry for the latency about that)
