Friday I was working at the airport in Birmingham, and finished at around 3pm so headed off to see ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
bethanthepurple for the afternoon/evening.
wtf? Firefox, and no other application has just mapped my keyboard to have a US layout instead of UK.
Anyway, later in the evening we went to a houseparty where I met a load of people, and as I find so often, are already inter-twined in my social circles. (Hellobunnyowen). I never cease to be amazed by how many of my friends seem to know other friends.
Saturday I went to London to get some Mountain Dew from Cyber Candy in time for BiCon[1], as I often burn the candle at both ends, so caffeine in plentiful supply is going to be a bonus. I also met up with my sister and we had a bite to eat in Leicester Square, then I popped in to seeruth_sedina.
Later I set off back to Manchester to seediffrentcolours for the housewarming though I got there quite late. Met some more excellent people, and should be meeting up again some time soon.
[1] It's just 5 days to go now. I can hardly concentrate due to my anticipation.
I'd like to do this meme but the site's giving a 509 so it'll have to wait awhile. (Yes, I could do it manually, and might do so. Maybe if I get bored)
Cooking dinner now, but will be online later this evening.
