Manic weekend (Birmingham -> London -> Manchester)

Friday I was working at the airport in Birmingham, and finished at around 3pm so headed off to see bethanthepurple for the afternoon/evening.

wtf? Firefox, and no other application has just mapped my keyboard to have a US layout instead of UK.

Anyway, later in the evening we went to a houseparty where I met a load of people, and as I find so often, are already inter-twined in my social circles. (Hello bunnyowen). I never cease to be amazed by how many of my friends seem to know other friends.

Saturday I went to London to get some Mountain Dew from Cyber Candy in time for BiCon[1], as I often burn the candle at both ends, so caffeine in plentiful supply is going to be a bonus. I also met up with my sister and we had a bite to eat in Leicester Square, then I popped in to see ruth_sedina.

Later I set off back to Manchester to see diffrentcolours for the housewarming though I got there quite late. Met some more excellent people, and should be meeting up again some time soon.

[1] It's just 5 days to go now. I can hardly concentrate due to my anticipation.

I'd like to do this meme but the site's giving a 509 so it'll have to wait awhile. (Yes, I could do it manually, and might do so. Maybe if I get bored)

Cooking dinner now, but will be online later this evening.

I meant to email you while I was stateside(ish) and ask if you want some MD brought over as I am going to try and bring some back for myself if I have room. You want some if I can fit it in my case or are you ok with the stuff you got?

I'm getting back next Monday.

If it's much cheaper than 1GBP/can, then yes please. I'd prefer diet if possible, but the caffeine's the all-important bit :-)

Yeah it is about $1CAD a can, or 60p each, I'll have later this week, the plan is to buy a big suitcase and fill it with cheap clothes and as much food/drink products as I can get away with :-)
