Meep. Operation date booked

A different phonecall this tim, from a nurse acting on behalf of my surgeon. They've got the results back of the histology and are operating this coming Tuesday. (I'm to go in at1pm on the Monday before, which means that my drinks with Cath have to be cancelled... grrrr). I'll be kept in for 5 days and then home for the weekend assuming no complications. Eeep, so soon... I really hope all goes well, and if I can do anything for you please don't hesitate to ask.

One piece of advice is, obtain fruit when you go in, and get visitors to bring you fresh fruit on request so you've got nice munchies which are not hospital food poison....

I will be thinking of you, hospitals are scary.
