Monday: The Ritz

Had Monday off work, and stil had no net connection in the morning when I woke up. Dropped the car of into work and discovered the cause of ADSL woes; a fire in a telco facility in Manchester city centre. If you plan to call me over the next few days (even though it's working again now) I'd recommend my mobile. Details linked from my userinfo page if you need them.
I'm almost tempted to say that bellringing at church was a waste of time; I was too tired, not on form and making many stupid mistakes. Not one of my better days.
Depsite how much flak it gets, the Ritz is not all that bad. Though I did feel really quite old, but that was due to it being half term and the school people being out. Anyway, it was great to be out. I've been under a lot of stress, for various reasons, recently and not really been in the clubbing mood. And last night was well worth it. I liked a sizeable amount of the music, though the hiphop hour was inevitable.
Was great to catch up with people, particularly those who'd been away at uni.
david,
nozza,
snowyowlofdoom,
kfite, Ruth and Leila were there, amongst others. (Sorry if I've left you out) Also saw David the barman from
jillys but the next time I looked up he'd gone, so I'll re-introduce myself some other time.
Pondered walking home but due to lack of recent clubbing escapades, my legs were giving me grief so I got a bus instead, and flopped into bed.
