Well, tonight was the first successful LiveJournal meetup.

dineleeeee and I caught the bus together and waited outside a closed Starbucks. I've ranted at meetup.com plenty of times about the fact that the meeting point is closed but the list of venues still hasn't been updated. Anyway, I made myself look prominent by displaying my LiveJournal t-shirt and we were soon greeted by

goatgod and

katy_the_kat. We waited for a ferw minutes, but due to the cold we went into the nearby easyInternetCafe.

dineleeeee ~~spammed~~posted to the

manchester community so that other would know where we were, but noone else turned up. Around that time it started snowing so

dineleeeee bravely ventured outside into the cold to get some photos.

After an hour we decided to go to the weatherspoon's in Picadilly Gardens. We seemed to get on well, and I intend to be at the next one to see who else turns up.
