Flying update
Dec. 7th, 2009 05:19 pmHuh, typical. Not that I'm complaining...Just as I start applying for jobs, Project Flying starts to take off. I'm still going to be looking for work but I have just had a call from my GP saying that the PCT have agreed to fund the referral, and hence the appointment will be made and I'll hear from them soon with an appointment date (which probably won't be for a few weeks). So I'm still considering a private appointment. I'll call them and ask about the possibilities once I have the details.
She has also written me a "it's not affected him for >25 years" style letter for the second medical issue (which hasn't affected me since I was 5, but I still needed to declare it). Once I receive that I shall forward it to the CAA.
Despite the fact that this second issue is smaller, it was the one I was more worried about because it was so long ago and I wasn't sure about what documentation would be available. But my GP said that the fact that it no longer required treatments and that I'd not no episodes for 2-plus decades should be sufficient.
