In other news

A short while ago arachne posted about a friend ihavecake who was looking for accommodation. I have a spare room and have done so for a while and decided that it would be nice to have someone around again and passed on my details.

Anyway, yesterday we met up for lunch and got on well so she came around for dinner last night and liked the house and decided to take the place. (I made brownies - several left over which I'll be taking to Guildford with me to the British Science Festival.)

In small world syndrome she's been staying with people I saw last weekend in Manchester at saintmaryuk's birthday party.
