(no subject)

Stayed in Ealing Tuesday and Wednesday nights, as I was working in london the following days. Managed to meet up with my sister for luch on the Thursday, and the producer from the documentary on the wednesday. That evening we met up with Russell (a mate from uni) and went out for a meal then to a great jazz bar in soho. SOMe of the act was well into the rock'n'roll domain, but they're closely linked anyway.

Thursday evening saw a very late drive to Southampton where I was working on Friday, finished there very early though I don't think they were the brightest bunch ;-) I wonder how much the support department will be hearing from them. In the evening I was feeling incredibly rough - must've been the heat, I guess, and I'd fallen asleep by soemtime around 8 in the evening.

Saturday: went over to see flufybumblebee and we watched Better Than Chocolate


Sunday: was aiming to go into town to meet up with zapruder for lunch at Garlic and Shots (which I'd previously failed to find during my walks in Soho). A joint effort (me not sending a confirmation text until late Saturday evening - after which time she'd lost her phone) meant that it didn't happen. Bah.

During the course of the week(end) I learned a couple of new knitting techniques; a quicker way to cast on, and how to do midrow colour changes. I also developed a new zigzag wavy pattern. I'll maybe sort a photo at some stage to show what I mean.
