Tired

Was working in Bracknell earlier today. I drove down last night to avoid the rush hour traffic, and also see my mum because it'd been a few weeks. Helped my sister go through her finances, create a budget that sort of thing. Fell asleep to a book in German on German grammar. The title eludes me for the moment, but it's one of my mum's. SHe and I have quite similar reading habits, in that we tend not to read fiction and instead focus on reference book, particularly dictionaries and linguistic books.

Anyway - the job in Bracknell went very well and I was all done by 3-something PM. "Great!", I thought, I'll avoid the Birmingham rush hour. Bah. Not so. There was a fire on a car transporter about half a mile ahead of where I joined the motorway. I was stationary for 3 hours. Spoke to the guy in the car in front of me and might even have tempted him to become a client because he showed a lot of interest in the company's product. Foolishly I forgot to take his details, but never mind.

Got back some time around 2130, got chinese and then spoke with [livejournal.com profile] lyra, reminscing about old children's TV.

Had a mild panic as I realised I'm running an internal training course tomorrw, and I hadn't written the notes. Still, it wasn't too taxing, just time consuming.

How do you know if a mute child has tourettes?
