Friday:
Was working in Brighton and really didn't fancy going back to Manc via Birmingham on a Friday night. (Not least because I was going to London again for the weekend). Stayed with [livejournal.com profile] ruth_sedina and saw her new place and flatmate.
Bought a fuckload of pizza which was good, because I skipped lunch due to being busy. Then drove to Skab's place where people got very drunk and I scared people with my repetoire of brain damaging URLs ;-) YAY! I finally met [livejournal.com profile] darkgoddesskim who is as lovely in person as she is online.

Saturday
Mangaed to get an Edi up before 12pm :-) I consider this quite an achievement; we were only 15 minutes late for the published starting time of http://www.bifest/ This was a fantastic day. Oh - I've kind of talked myself into a mini geek project. I must stop taking so much on, not least because my evenings are often taken up by driving stupid distances. (Was in Sunderland today; due in Glos. tomorrow and Luton Wednesday). The LARC in Whitechapel (where BiFest wsa held) is a small building but does very well for usuable space. This is helped by the mezzanine and roof terrace.
*hugs* to [livejournal.com profile] duranorak and [livejournal.com profile] fairierhona. Was lovely to see you there.

Sunday:
Did not a great deal. The wonderful [livejournal.com profile] softfruit brough back some Mountain Dew from Covent Garden so I is happy. Drove back to Manchester and got in sometime around 9-10pm, spodded for longer than perhaps I should have done (with a looming 6am wakeup) and then flopped into bed.

The dream involved a global disaster in the form of killer kittens. The kittens were cute and fluffy and cuddly (as they should be) but everyone who made eye contact with them would drop dead. I was one of 3 (I think) people who were for some unexplained reason unaffected by them. We had Star Trek style phasers and had to kill them off :-(

It was a most upsetting way to wake up.

I wonder what this says about me - having to destroy one of my favourite things.
