Sep. 17th, 2004 05:12 pmI just had a phonecall from the PR company in charge of Manchester CowParade, confirming for real that Dave and I were the one and only correct entrant for the competion. I already suspected it was the case, but it's nice to have it confirmed. They'll be arranging a photo shoot of us with one of the cows for a bit of publicity. w00t!
The prize is a year's supply of beer. The irony being that neither of us drink. This means
Free beer for the housewarming. :-)
I'll post details of when that'll be, but I'm aiming for it to be on the 9th.
Dave: when's good for you for the publicity thingy? Can you eaily get time off during the week or are weekends preferable?
