Manchester Wireless

I've been part of the mailing list for few months, but for once the group decided to have a meeting within easy reach of my place. Conveniently I was on the early shift at work, so was able to attend. Seeing all the equipment layed out on the tables in the pub was a dead giveaway - saves me the embarassment of asking a group of strangers if they're geeks ;-)

There are quite a few active people in S. Manchester, but there are also lots of obstacles so I'm currently unlikely to be able to hook up a LOS link with anyone, particularly being in a flat where antenna installation is restricted.

I'm certainly interested, but I don't know if I want to take any immediate action, particularly as I'm considering moving.
