Last night's gig: A perfect circle
Sep. 18th, 2003 07:10 pmI went to the Academy for another gig last night. Though I've been to see a fair amount of live music recently, I've not been to the Academy for a while.
I didn't really know much of their stuff, but I went because I share much the same taste in music taste of those I knew to be attending. And I'm so glad I went.
Started off in the pub and met with too many people to enumerate. There were probably 20 of us - we occupied a sizeable proportion of the top floor - so much so that some of us were sat on the floor rather than at tables.
I vaguely remember being used as a human sheild for someone but I forget why that was.
Oh -
probe - you made reference to my occasional posting of recipes in my journal. I've now created a memory for them - it can be found here.
The music and company were great - it qas such an exhausting night. Shame that the band didn't do an encore, or didn't interact much with the crowd. *shrug*
