Geeky idea of right now
Sep. 1st, 2003 02:11 pmI've slowly been reading back over the 500 or so entries which were posted when I spent the bank holiday weekend in London. If there's anything important I should see then please post it in a comment, else don't think I'm ignoring you.
Anyway, the geeky idea I had was to write a LJ->usenet interface, so that you can read LJ with your favourite newsclient. The newsreader I use has a faster interface than the web interface - this was my reasoning for the idea. Naturally it wouldn't post to public groups; they'd be run as local groups.
The idea needs a bit of refinement, but it seems like fun.
zimpenfish - I especially welcome your opinions on this.
