Today's ramble

I went down town today, having got up at 11am, which is almost unheard of for me. I'd been quite foolish recently, and neglected paper mail[1] and discovered that I'd been sent 2 credit card bills. Yes, it really had been that long. I had to get up early to go to the bank and pay it off. On my way out, I went to HMV[2] to celebrate my productivity.

I bought a book called "Why do people hate America", which despite the seemingly-biased nature, based on the title, seems a balanced book from the Introduction which I read in the store. We shall see. I also bought the latstest Cranberries album "Wake Up And Smell The Coffee"[3] and two albums by Bowling For Soup.

I was going to get another piercing today but there was a plumber working in the house this morning and the water was off as a result, so I couldn't shower. I decided not to inflict myself on some poor guy. I'll either go next weekend, or sometime during the week, depending on when I'm working.

About 30 minutes ago I woke up from a 2 hour kip. I intended to sleep only for an hour, lest[4] I disrupt my bodyclock, but I'm going clubbing later and the place has a late license, so I should be alright.

Plan for the evening:
Shower. Eat. Clubbing.

Summary:
So, nothing of significance, really :-)
