I left work early today, at 2pm, because I was feeling grim. I felt as though I usually do when I've been up for 40 hours or so, despite having had 8 hours sleep: poor thermoregulation, headache and nausea.
I drove home (which, with hindsight probably wasn't the best idea, but it was raining heavily and that would've made me worse), went straight to sleep and woke up 20 minutes ago.
It's not the being ill I mind, but the disruption to sleep cycles which is annoying.
