kerrykat. I managed to spend 200GBP on footwear - a pair of boots and some rollerblades. SO now I have my own set of wheels ;-).
Previously I had a pair of Caterpillars, but within a year I managed to wear through them. I've bought something a bit more resilient - a pair of New Rocks. They're very big and add about and inch to my height. The hardest thing to get used to is sitting on a high chair or stool - my feet don't touch the ground and the added weight is an odd sensation.
