E45 cream (available at any chemists and the appropriate depts of supemarkets) is really good for things like that, even for mild cases of psoriasis. It has all the qualities you describe, is quickly absorbed and doesn't smell. It tastes bad, though, I mistook it for toothpaste once... ;o)
