wahey - my first paycheque has cleared

I'm thinking of buying some geekythings, especially the Claw and other stuff from ThinkGeek *g* I'll proably get the capsaicin t-shirt

Other stuff I'm thinking about is a vanity domainname of some sort and maybe an mp3player.

Also, I want to get a book called "The Language Instinct" by Steve Pinker. I was chatting with my mum recently about stuff I was going to buy with my first paycheque and mentioned this book. She rates the authour highly, having read some of his books for part of her psychology degree at Royal Holloway.

And as of last night, I'm thinking about a snakeboard :-)

Speaking to some of my colleagues, it appears we don't get paid 'til next week. So I'm not sure where this handsome sum of ~400UKP came from.
Still, not to be sniffed at, eh? *g*

Speaking of sniffing, I'm still a bit congested. I'll eat something gingery soon - maybe a stirfry or something. I'll have to go home and get my shirt 'cause I'm working tonight (someone called in sick), so I'll go home via tesco metro and buy some nice things *g*
