End of an era

Tonight is the last night I'll be spending in my flat. It's strange to think that I've been in London a whole year. I'll be spending the next few days with family not too far from here and, assuming all goes to plan, I'll be in my new house on Friday.

Today xugglybug and I went to the Post Secret gallery in Foyles. It was quiet than I thought it would be, though admittedly it was the last day. I recognised some of the material from the book (which I pondered buying, but decided not to as it's comparatively close to Christmas at the mo). Having packed away all of the food and kitchenware from which to eat, we decided to go for a meal somewhere. This evening we went to the nearby Big Red. (Randomly passed drpoggs and ryll with a couple of others in tow.)

Just to let you know that I'll not be online during the evenings for the coming few days, but I have provisionally arranged for an NTL engineer to come on Sunday so things should be sorted then.

Hurrah, alextiefling and I shall be looking forward to it. We may have to leave earlyish, mind you (not likely to be able to stay for midnight) but if you are starting at midday, that's good as will give us plenty of time to hang out with you. Would you be wanting us to bring anything? Snacks? Booze? Games?

If I am taking your 3 people to include ariiadne, then no, as she won't be back from the States yet, sadly. If it's to include another, there was a plan afoot to hang out with janieluk during the day, and possibly fluffymormegil, depending on who arrives when and what happens - will have to find out about that. I wouldn't bring anyone without approval, of course!

We will definitely be coming, not sure when as it depends when we can get away from church, but probably early afternoon (2-3?). Would it be ok to bring a friend of mine and ariiadne's? I won't if I don't get a reply or phonecall from you before then - I know you have no internet!

the end of an era? more importantly, the start of another. For both of us. Though I know not wether I can be in the area for new year, plans going forwadr should mean that I am substantially closer in the new year.

I also have a spare NTL cable modem knocking around if you need it.
