End of an era

I knew this day would come, but it's appeared so quickly. Today is the last day of work for my current company.

I've just been handed a card signed the staff and received a gift voucher.

No matter how much I bitch and moan (whether publically or privately) I have on the whole enjoyed my time here and have learned an immense amount.

10 days break before I start my new jon, but I need to pack and move house in the mean time.

Almost 3 years. I started in November 2001. My journal around that time is quite angsty as I was very short of cash and about to have to leave Manchester.


Thanks for the offer of moving help. There's no emergency though: I have somewhere else to move to and have a leisurely few days to get myself sorted. I already have Nina, Kerry and landlord offering to help, each of whom have cars. I'm hoping it'll be done all in one convoy.
