Pancake day - invitation

Wow - it's Shrove Tuesday tomorrow. I just realised that I don't have a recipe for pancakes. (I prefer them thin and crepe-like). Can anyone oblige?

I have a few ideas for toppings, both savoury and sweet:

• Icecream
• Strawberries, apples and black pepper
• marshmallows and chocolate sauce
• bolognase sauce
• cheese and tomato

Anyone else got any suggestions?

I might be tempting fate, but if I were to offer to cook a few, who would be interested in attending?
I'm aiming to start around 1930-2000ish.

Sugar
Golden syrup and a little sugar Mmmm.... (my personal fave!)
Strawberry jam
Lemon juice and sliced orange
Ham and cheese

Well I would be up for that but I am going to visit tabatha_yeddap tonight.....

No doubt I shall end up cooking pancakes!!!

I don't know how to make pancakes. I was asking for instructions, but Google has since been of use.
