Today was my last day at my currentnow-ex employer. It was an amicable split, and having known my boss from uni before I joined the firm, we're going to stay in touch. My leaving present was a subscription to O'Reilly's online technical library. Fantastically fitting, as at PyCon a couple of weekends back I came so close to buying a few books but held off.

I start at the new place tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it.

Went to Asda / Wickes this evening to get a few bits and pieces and ended up buying two crates and a rucksack of stuff. Oops. Cooked spag bol for dinner, and enough left over for lunch tomorrow.
