Then I was preparing for the new semester, buying flat-pack furniture in Hanley Argos for my friend's new house. Another friend got a "have you heard the news, get yourself to a TV" text. We thought something had happened in Chester where she came from. We stood in Argos watching the TVs with loads of other people. The sound was off so it wasn't very clear what had happened.
